On this anniversary of the Allied Invasion of Normandy, we actually spend a little time thinking about war and how neither of us would have probably survived *any* of them.
The serious topics continue as we talk about when people leave the faith. We promise next episode will be less sobering.
We put on our historian caps (historians wear hats, right?) to fulfill our promise about doing a segment on the starter Pokemon of various famous people. Then, witness the hardest pivot into lengthy, serious topics concerning theology, ecumenism, and working for social change. Yes, it’s The Workshop where you never know what you’re going to get and we don’t really either.
Our attempted serious discussion about why mainstream American Christianity always seems to be producing bad imitations of popular culture gets derailed and we end up making a lot of jokes that might only be funny to us.
