On this episode we show how little we know about very famous and popular musicians by trying to think of names for possible music biopics. Also, it’s Justin Vernon appreciation time again because we actually went to see Bon Iver. We try not to gush too much. Sorry.

It’s finally episode 50! We celebrate by seeing how many of our old episodes we can remember just by looking at the titles – it’s like a clip show of the mind! Actual clip shows are way too much work to put together. And lest you think we’re just singing ourselves this episode, we end by giving back with podcasting advice from people who are obviously experts at it by now… right?

We’re not quite ready for our 50th episode. Instead, we bring you a short bonus episode from the distant past. This was our audio test just before we recorded episode 1 of the podcast way back in December 2016 – we were all so much younger then! It’s basically just a condensed version of what we normally do just with even less direction.

It’s our loudest longest episode ever! That doesn’t mean it’s good. But you should still listen as we discuss our personal musical evolutions. Includes rabbit trails on boy bands, CCM, pop punk, and Coldplay. And also find out what embarrassing (his word) album was Eric’s first.

Like the previous episode, we had to record this in separate studios and the audio quality suffered a bit more this time than last time. Hopefully we will be in the same place next time.

A factual correction nobody cares about: Matt stated he graduated high school in 2009. In fact it was 2008 and he is older than he thinks and/or wants.

We. Are. Back.

After an unintentional hiatus (it always seems to happen around the beginning of the year) The Workshop returns. This episode we had to record using the magic of voice over IP since we couldn’t be in the same studio. But we fought through scheduling conflicts and turned down million dollar contracts just so we could bring our podcast back to you, dear listener.

This episode is packed with all the wonderful meandering of two friends catching up and incidentally recording their conversation to put on the internet. It’s what we do. Share and enjoy!
